I’ve been guiding all summer with a set of these rod holders in the canoe. They stay in place with either fly or spinning rods while on the water and transporting on the trailer! One benefit I stumbled… upon was if the rods get hit … say tripping on the gunnel getting out, the rod holders pop off easy and save the rods from damage. Also, fly line seems to find its way around anything that it can catch on, the easy attachment of these lets me take them off while clients fish providing a less cluttered casting area in the canoe. Great all around product that works well and is very simple to use!
